This is a bespoke new build office and retail HQ for a local IT business, Quantum Data Solutions, located on a prominent site on the southern gateway to the town.  As such, the fully glazed southern façade allows for ideal advertising of the company’s retail operation whilst at the same time gathering as much of the sun’s natural energy, albeit tempered against overheating by solar shading.

The double height internal retail / office / workshop space is flooded in daylight, creating a spectacular working environment which, along with renewable energy measures such as an air source heat pump, have allowed the client to significantly reduce their energy bills at the same time as creating a statement building which enhances their corporate identity.
