The concept for this project is to design private speculative housing with a strong emphasis on low energy requirements. The site layout maximises opportunities for passive solar gain and exploits the benefits of shelterbelt planting (which was carried out to become established before development takes place).

Individual houses will incorporate central sunspaces and will have the flexibility to cater for individual owner's layout adaptations.
